What is the “Ramp” feature?
Ramp Mode is a feature that allows you to cook at the desired cooking temperature (pit temp) you choose until your food temp (as measured by your food probe) is 30 degrees from the done temperature you set on the control. At this point, the control will slowly “ramp down” the pit temp as your food approaches the done temperature to prevent overcooking your food. Please note that when Ramp Mode is on, cooking time will increase.
