Are the food probe and pit probe interchangeable?
While we don't recommend it, if you damage your pit probe and are in a pinch, you can use the food probe to cook. You would just need to remove the Cayman clip from the tip of the pit probe, push it onto the food probe and plug the food probe into the pit jack. These probes are basically the same except for the shape and length of the probe tip.
