Big Ugly's BBQ had a big win this past week at the Que n' Cruz, located at the Small Country Campground, Louisa, VA. They took a category win in Chicken , a 7th in both Ribs and Pork, and another category win in Brisket.
Big Ugly Decided at the last minute to do the Saltwater Brew n’ Que with some coaxing from his good friend and outstanding cook, Tom Bera of Philly Blind Pig. Made the trip down to the island and got set up to do what they do, have fun and cook some que! They got 8th place calls in both chicken and ribs (surprised), and 2nd in pork (no thanks to judge #4), 3rd in brisket for the RGC. They also took 2nd place in Peoples Choice Chicken Wings, major thanks to Tom, Bill, and Dillon for helping him get those done!
