Description: Old Bay Shrimp BBQ recipe, with the juicy delicious of bacon-wrapped jalapenos and shrimp mixed with savory Old Bay seasoning.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 dozen large jalapeño peppers, cut in half and seeded
  • 2 dozen large raw shrimp, shelled with vein removed
  • 10 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tsp. of BBQ Bob’s Alpha Rub
  • 2 lbs. thin sliced bacon

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix Old Bay seasoning into softened cream cheese and fill pepper halves.
  2. Place raw shrimp onto pepper on top of cream cheese.
  3. Wrap 1 slice of bacon around each stuffed pepper half, tightly. (Use a toothpick to secure if needed).
  4. Coat each bacon wrapped jalapeno lightly with BBQ Bob’s Alpha Rub.
  5. Slow cook indirect over charcoal at 275°F for 1.5 hours or until bacon is rendered, shrimp is cooked, and pepper is tender.
