The Red White and Blue BBQ Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
- Obi Que Garlic Pepper seasoning
- 6 oz BBQ Bob’s Original Sauce
- 2 red jalapenos chopped fine and seeded
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 5 oz. container of crumbled blue cheese
- 8 pretzel rolls
- Red leave lettuce
Preparation
- Set your BBQ Guru control to 325°F
- Set up cooker for a direct cook. (no drop pan over the coals)
- Slice chicken breasts in half, length wise
- Season with Obie Que Garlic Pepper Seasoning
- Cook at 325°F over the coals turning the chicken breast once until the internal temp is 160°F
- Take the bbq sauce and the chopped jalapeno and place them into a small sauce pot and heat for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the sauce.
- Once chicken breasts are cooked, brush them with the red jalapeno bbq sauce while they are still on the grill and allow the sauce to set for 3 minutes. Remove and set them aside.
- Place some red leave lettuce on the bottom bun, then a little crumbled blue cheese. Place a piece of chicken down then more blue cheese and another piece of red leaf lettuce.
